New workplace poster required for Minnesota's minimum wage adjustment

New workplace poster required for Minnesota's minimum wage adjustments

The State of Minnesota has released a new mandatory workplace poster reflecting updates to the minimum wage, effective January 1, 2025. All employers are required to display these updated posters prominently in the workplace.

You can print the posters or order physical copies directly from the Department of Labor and Industry's (DLI) website using the following link: download posters.

Beginning January 1, 2025, Minnesota’s minimum-wage rates will adjust for inflation:
  • Standard Minimum Wage: $11.13/hour
  • Training Wage (for employees under 20 years of age during the first 90 consecutive days of employment): $9.08/hour

To help employers navigate these changes, DLI is hosting a free webinar on November 14. The webinar will cover both state and federal minimum-wage and overtime requirements, including exemptions that may apply to workers in Minnesota. For more information and to register for the webinar, visit: DLI events.

Stay compliant and ensure your workplace is ready for the upcoming changes!
