POSITION SUMMARY: The Retail and Deposit Operations Training & Information Coordinator will be responsible for improving the productivity of employees and the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs for Retail Banking and Deposit Operations. This role will identify and arrange suitable training solutions for employees within these departments. You must work closely with the Retail Management Team, Deposit Operations Managers, Compliance and Human Resources and be present in branches across the footprint. In this role, you will work closely with the Market Retail Trainers, providing guidance to enhance the skills and knowledge of retail employees, deliver training, organizing training materials and maintaining consistency in the training process.  
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Training Program Development:

  • Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive training programs for Retail banking employees. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in retail banking training
  • Perform gap analysis and create training for a Deposit Operations (Treasury Management Products, ACH & Wires, Cash Management) curriculum
  • Evaluate training needs in collaboration with department heads and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain updated curriculum database and training records.
  • Actively search for innovative training solutions and methodologies to enhance employee development.
Training Coordination:
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions, ensuring minimal disruption to banking operations.
  • Maintain a training calendar and ensure all training activities are documented and tracked.
Performance Enhancement:
  • Implement effective methods to educate and inform employees, enhancing their performance and productivity.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, making adjustments as needed.
  • Provide coaching and support to employees to help them apply new skills and knowledge.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with Compliance and Human Resources to ensure training programs meet regulatory requirements and support employee development goals.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes that impact training needs.
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify and address specific training needs at each location.
Working with Market Retail Trainers:
  • Collaborate with Market Retail Trainers to deliver training programs effectively in each market.
  • Organize and manage training materials in coordination with Market Retail Trainers.
  • Provide guidance to Market Retail Trainers to enhance the skills and knowledge of retail employees.
  • Evaluate training delivery tools and ensure Market Retail Trainers are equipped to deliver high-quality training.
On-Site Presence:
  • Foster a positive learning environment within each branch.
  • Be physically present in branches and get-to-know current skills and abilities of frontline staff and coordinate training or information-sharing opportunities to engage Retail Banking and Deposit Operations employees with products and services needed to serve each community.
  • Act as mentor/buddy, along with the assistance of the Market Retail Trainers, for the newer Banking employees until they are comfortable to operate on their own.

PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
  • Successful completion of quarterly Rocks and other strategies, as set in coordination with Head of Deposit Operations. 
WORKING CONDITIONS:
    Will be required to travel to branches across each market, based on needs, so must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Requirements
EXPERIENCE
    Minimum 2 years professional experience in curriculum development and training delivery
EDUCATION
    High School Diploma or equivalent. 2-4 year degree in business or related preferred
