Thursday marked another long day on the House Floor — and three more supplemental budget bills are on the Calendar for the Day Friday when the House again meets in session at 12:30 p.m. They are:

  • HF5299, the higher education supplemental finance bill;
  • HF5216, the public safety and judiciary supplemental finance bill; and
  • SF5289, the workforce and economic development supplemental finance bill.
Keep an eye out: bills laid on the table from earlier this week — and session — can also be brought back before the body for debate at any time.
In Friday committee action, another meeting of the conference committee on the human services policy bill, is set for 9 a.m., as is the House Ways and Means Committee for a discussion of ranked-choice voting.
